RE: HTCP Injury Data Collection Program (IDCP) Online Reporting System
We are pleased to inform you that the HTCP Injury Data Collection Program will be available as an online web based reporting system, commencing the 2009-10 season.
The online application has been developed to simplify the process of reporting injuries by providing team trainers/officials the ability to easily access, complete and submit the IDCP report form directly online via the internet, thus eliminating paper forms and mailing/faxing costs.
Data is instantly captured to a customized secure database, which is accessed and maintained by the HDCO office for the purpose of collecting statistical information on hockey-related injuries in the province of Ontario. IDCP Reports are compiled and produced on an annual basis.
In order to facilitate the transition of the new IDCP online reporting system, updated information and instructions have been included in the (2009-10) HTCP Participant’s Manual and course presentation slides, however, please forward any hardcopy IDCP forms that you receive to our office for input.
If you have any questions regarding the above information please contact me at your earliest convenience.
